1:1 Scale ‘Gears of War 2′ Lancer Assault Rifle Replica
If you’re one of those fans that simply must own everything from within a particular franchise prepare to be a little disappointed with you half finished collection. TriForce, makers of replica movie and gaming memorabilia, have just announced that they have finally finished work on their piece de resistance, the Lancer Assault Rifle Replica from Gears of War 2.
This beautiful 1:1 replica has been painstakingly recreated by some of the most talented artists within the replica making industry. As you can see from the image it is quite simply a work of art, measuring 40 inches in length, weighing approximately 15 pounds, and featuring working LED effects.
That was the good, the bad (and this is very bad) is that only 500 of the chainsaw equipped machine guns will be made and if you want to be one of the lucky ones you better sell one of your kidneys. Because at $949.99 you don’t get an awful lot of change from your kid’s college fund.
