The summit? The summit of what? If you must know, I suppose it’s the summit of Icicle Mountain. And I guess there are vegetables there after all.
At first glance, it appears to be a normal glacial peak. But after you fight for a while…

Hmm. Talk about hectic. And rumour has it, you can’t get careless once you’ve reached the sea.
I feel like I’ve seen that fish before somewhere… Where could it have been?

So yet again another amazing level!
(I’m not sure if I can take anymore news on this game as I might pass out!)

Screens for the upcoming Sight Training for you to practice on.
As you would expect, the game bares a resemblance to Brain Training and no doubt operates in a similar fashion.
The idea for the game centers around the fact that we only use 50% of our eyes potential and hopes to help unlock it, developed under the supervision of one of the leading doctors in visual training for athletes and professor, Dr Hisao Ishigaki from the Aichi Institute of Technology, the game hopes to improve our eye sight by looking at five key areas Hand-Eye Co-ordination, Peripheral Vision, Eye Movement, Momentary Vision and Dynamic Visual Acuity.
The game is due for release on 23rd November.

Wii Zapper Dated For Europe
Filed under: Latest News, Nintendo | Comments (0)
Nintendo have announced that the Wii Zapper will get a European in time for Christmas.
The Zapper which is bundled with Link’s Crossbow training will hit the shelves on December 7th and it’s quite likely not to stay there very long, priced at £19.99 this peripheral will probably sell by the boat load and also has the support of two other potentially popular games in the guise of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles and Ghost Squad.
Daniel Roswell @ 12:56 amPlayStation 2 Seven Years Old
Filed under: Latest News | Comments (0)
The PlayStation 2 hit the ground running back in October 26 2000 and has celebrated high sales ever since.
The second in Sony’s successful gaming systems has hit the incredible milestone of 120 million units sold over the past seven years, a feat that will be hard pressed to match by any of the current generation systems currently available.
On its anniversary date, Jack Tretton, president and CEO for SCEA, said, “While today’s anniversary celebrates PlayStation 2’s past, we’re very excited for its future. We look forward to the platform’s continued growth and expect to sell approximately 12 million units worldwide by the end of March, leading us to anticipate that PlayStation 2’s lifecycle will exceed that of the original PlayStation. Never before has an in-home game system experienced this type of worldwide success on such a long-lasting scale.â€
When the PS2 first hit the shops it had a £299 price tag and even with this inflated price it still managed to fly off the shelves. Something Sony would have liked for the PS3 but unfortunately even though the PS3 might be equally as desirable as the PS2 the price puts it out of reach of most people. A lot of lessons can be learned from the PS2’s market dominance; it’s ironic that Sony of all people didn’t learn from it.

This is the classic single-player mode – hence the name, Classic.
In this mode, you try to clear each stage as you go.
The world you fight in is pretty much determined by the stage number. Stage 1 is based on The Legend of Zelda. Stage 3 is based on Pokémon. And each time, the characters are chosen randomly.
You’ll also find that the status of enemies and rules of the match vary slightly to include things like Giant matches, Metal matches and Team battles.

So… You just keep playing until you reach the end. Easy to understand, right?
Huh? You’re wondering what the coins on the Stage Clear screen are for? Um, you think they’re there to make it look livelier?
No, no. You earn and save these up little by little as you play. And supposedly you can use them somewhere. But no – you don’t use them to shop.

No More Heroes has secured a publisher and a release window for February 2008 with Rising Star Game, the publishers output thus far, mainly consists of titles for DS and PSP and this would mark the first Wii game for Rising Star Games.
Ubisoft is set to publish the game in the States and its unclear why they choose not to publish in Europe too; it would make sense to do both. Especially being a French company.
Also No More Heroes release puts it in the same window as Smash Bros. and the possibility of it being over shadowed by the latest in the blockbusting series

New screen shots of the upcoming Societies and some old ones too.
The latest in one of the most popular games series on the PC is currently in development and this time around it add a new dynamic to the very successful formula, Electronic Arts and BP have collaborated to include climate change education within the game.
The Series which has sold about 18 million titles world-wide hopes to combine world-class game building skills and industry expertise on energy, electricity production and greenhouse gas emissions to highlight the impact of electricity generation on the emissions of carbon dioxide that are linked to climate change.
The low-carbon electricity choices and monitoring of SimCity’s carbon emissions provide an entertaining, fully-integrated and accurate look at some of the causes and some of the major solutions available to combat rising levels of carbon and to help address the threat of global warming.
SimCity Societies will be available at retailers across North America and Europe November 15.

Yes thats right guys & Girls Super Smash Bros. Brawl has a Stage Builder!!!
This is such good news if you ask me as making your own levels is one of the best things that a game could offer you as it mean it gives you the chance to make something that you want and not what you are given!

You start by choosing the size of the stage, the background pattern, and the music that will play. Oops! Sorry. For music, you’ll only be able to choose from the songs you have available.

Daniel Roswell @ 3:09 amValve Blocking Deceptive Purchases
Filed under: Latest News, PC, Steam | Comments (0)
Money saving Americans have been blocked from using international versions of the Orange Box by Valve.
Being a UK resident I totally freaked when I first heard of this because I thought my Orange Box was an international purchase and because a lot of headlines were being deceptive themselves, the irony.
What this whole situation boils down to is that some Americans purchased the Orange Box from international suppliers in order to save a bit of cash on Valve’s latest offering.
Naturally Valve was none too pleased and has blocked any of the offending purchases; this has caused a lot of angry internet rants about how Valve is supposed to be a company by gamers for gamers. Under the circumstances it does appear the Valve are being unfair, but when you think that the Orange Box contains five games that you are getting for the price of one it’s understandable Valve got a little upset.
All that aside it still didn’t stop me booting up Team Fortress 2 just to “check” it still worked and ending up losing 2 hours of the day.

Daniel Roswell @ 10:14 pmKing Dedede: Special Moves
Filed under: Latest News, Nintendo, Smash Bros. DOJO | Comments (0)
King Dedede’s great jump is his speciality! But he doesn’t have much freedom while jumping, and his vulnerability when he lands is pretty significant.
That said, if things look bad, just tap down on the Control Stick.
However, if you try to cancel just before landing, you’ll make a fool of yourself, and you’ll be vulnerable for even longer, so watch out.

He pulls out Waddle Dees from who knows where and throws them. The Waddle Dees then waddle around afterwards.
This time, King Dedede’s hammer is actually mechanised. The head’s rotation is powered by a motor.
And it can do this.

If you hold down the Control Stick and the special-move button simultaneously, you can charge up his hammer. And you can unleash it in one blow!
You can even walk around with it charged up, but you can’t save the charge by pressing the shield button. Also, if you charge it up too much, it will increase your own damage, so be careful.
