Grand Theft Auto III Signed By Jack Thompson

A wonderful piece of gaming irony to finish the year. A signed copy of Grand Auto III has turned up on eBay by none other than Jack Thompson and quite honestly I’m having difficulty getting me head around this one. My mind doesn’t want to accept this as real, it shouldn’t exist. Jack Thompson signing a copy of GTA III? This almost impossible item came about as a result of an open panel debate...  (read more »)

Full Metroid Map

In my continuing quest to find pretty maps for games, I have come across a totally awesome map of Metroid on the NES. This map is so big you can only see a couple of rooms at a time so I’ve scaled it down to fit it on Level Select, but lost all the detail (can’t win) if you want to see the original in all its glory follow the link below. For those that missed my previous finds, you will find a...  (read more »)

The first time you play the Wi-Fi modes, be sure to set the Smash Service to ON. If you don’t turn this Smash Service on, you won’t receive any data! I ask that you take great care not to forget this step.

In order to receive data sent by Nintendo, you need to first choose Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection mode.

Doom Bible

Every gamer knows Doom and any self respecting gamer has at least played part of Doom. It’s a game that is just as hallowed as Mario, Sonic or Street Fighter II. Doom was originally intend to be a story driven shooter with an intricate plot, much like Half-Life was, (released six years later using a heavily modified version id’s Quake engine) the gameplay however moved towards the fast paced action...  (read more »)

Shark Light Gun for Wii

How random is this? Fortunately for myself and a couple of friends we had the luxury of having the precious few days off between Christmas and New Year. We decided it would be a great opportunity to get together and play some games, one of the games we played was Ghost Squad on the Wii and naturally our mood gravitated towards the Paradise mode. The idea of running around with Dolphin water guns and shooting at...  (read more »)

Now as I had some new games given to me (and some bought by me…) over this holiday season I thought I would go and check out the Club Nintendo section of the new Nintendo website and to my surprise and delight it looks like the big N has been listening to us bitch and moan about not getting anything cool in the Stars Catalogue and decided to do something about it! Dragoon

It is said that if you collect all three parts, you will complete the legendary Air Ride machine… It’s broken into three parts: Dragoon Part A, the nose cone… Dragoon Part B, the hull… and Dragoon Part C, the tail. Of course, given the amount of preparation required, it boasts tremendous firepower! If it strikes you, consider it a one-hit KO. The battle for this item is hot. Hit an...  (read more »)

Smash Bros Brawl Goes Gold

Dedicated Smash Bros. Forum has scooped that Smash Bros has finally been finished and is going into mass production. This is obviously excellent news, it brings the game one step closer to being released (Ok, for anyone outside of Europe its one step closer). On the down side it now means that no more work is being done on the game and if your favorite character is not in the game by now it means they might not...  (read more »)

Coin Launcher

Coin Launcher

In the last game, you dropped the coins you collected into a prize-dispensing machine for a chance to win trophies. That was fine and all, but the guys over at Smash HQ got to thinking that there wasn’t really any strategy involved.

So this time, They have dropped the crane game. Instead, you’ll be earning your trophies in THIS kind of game!

Coin Launcher

Tilt left and right to change the angle of the launcher and press the button to roll coins out. Basically, the coins themselves are your bullets.

Christmas The Aftermarth

After the dust settles for another Christmas, its time to find out the results. Gaming charts are a messy affair, you never quite know which sales chart is on the money. but general consensus is that Call of Duty 4 was the most popular game this Christmas, finally beating EA’s continual domination during this period over the past few years. Looking at Chart Track it looks like this. 1 CALL OF DUTY 4: MODERN...  (read more »)

Trophy Stands

Trophy Stands

Among the many trophies are some representing the enemies that appear in The Subspace Emissary.

But they cannot be acquired easily.

You must turn the enemies directly into trophies to get them! The item you need to do this is a trophy stand.

Trophy Stands

When an enemy appears, you need to significantly weaken it.
