Alan Wake: The Signal DLC

If you like your thrillers to be prefixed with the word psychological, then the chances are you picked up Remedy’s Alan Wake and were psychologically thrilled by the gripping story.

No doubt that gripping story has come to an end and you will be wondering what happens next. Well, the wait is nearly over because the first planned DLC for the game, titled The Signal is due to be released 27th July and below you will find a couple of pictures to get you excited about this.

For early adopters of the game (ie, people that shelled out full whack for the game), they also received a code with the game that entitles them download The Signal for free. Obviously the theory here is that people will buy the game new, over the slightly cheaper second hand copy. The only problem that I can see with the theory, is you could probably now buy the game cheap enough second hand to justify the 800 ms points it will cost to buy the DLC.

A similar tactic is being used by EA under the more sinister sounding project ten dollar, lets just hope that these “incentives” actually prove beneficial to the public.
