Bioshock is heading to the skys..!

Yup its time we leave the cold dark waters of rapture for a more brighter world, although by the looks of it the air has its fair share of problems too. The new trailer for what has been titled Bioshock Infinite is out and this time around we venture up, to the heavens.

From the new trailer it looks like we may be trading in the classic Big Daddy for something even more awesome, something mechanical and with a beating human heart. The new game is being made by “Irrational Games” who were the creators of the first BioShock game. This fills me with a warm fuzzy feeling because as we all know, the second game while very good was missing something the first had.

What we know so far about the game (which isn’t a lot) is its the year is 1912 and instead of Rapture we have the grand sky city “Columbia”. The game is said to feature both sky and ground combat which hopefully means the usual running and gunning, mixed with the occasional aerial dog fight, which sounds awesome. The one thing I’m a little sad to hear is the fact the game wont be out untill 2012 which means we all have a long wait on our hands.

Ohh and one more thing, I am loving the new look logo for this game as it shows that we have moved back in time from 1946 (first Bioshock) to 1912.
