Blueified Xbox 360 Controller

This weekend I thought that instead of just talking about moding one of my 360 controllers that I would actually do it, the result is this sweet baby blue controller. Now, I’m not going to take all the credit here as I had a little help from my younger brother who works in the film industry as a model maker and had everything we needed to take on this little project.

First, we took the pad apart, then used wet ‘n’ dry sand paper to key the surface of the buttons before spraying them with a plastic primer. Next we sprayed all the sections that were to be blue and let them dry and to finish off we used a clear gloss lacquer to stop any wear on the paint.

So just like Flickr user 4apples Pink controller I now have a blue version, and now i’m thinking I will do all 4 of my controllers in CMYK. Again big thanks to by little bro for the helping hands..!
