Chrono Trigger

For me, the pinnacle of console gaming has got to be the 16 bit era, there were just so many fantastic games around at the time that we were spoilt for choice. Everyone just seemed to be churning out good quality games, no one more so than Square Enix (Square in the 16 bit days), who were producing hit after hit. Although this company bought me so much joy, it was the object of major resentment because a lot of their titles simply failed to reach Europe. Titles like Chrono Trigger, which is finally getting a European release a staggering 14 years after Japan fell in love with it.
Chrono Trigger still remains one of the few games that I’ve always wanted to play but never did, It is even part of my top ten dream VC games that never made it to Europe (part I, II, III). Anyway Chrono Trigger is out tomorrow in Europe and I was going to jump on top of my soap box and tell every one why they need to buy this game, but it seems I was beaten to the punch.
So, if you want to find out exactly why you should buy this game check out the excellent write up at N-Europe
