CoD4: Modern Warfare 2, Now With Added Night Vision

Goggles

I have said on a couple of times of my growing weariness of the current special edition craze sweeping across the gaming industry. But there comes a time when all previous preconceptions get thrown out of the window, it doesn’t take much just a set of night vision goggles. That’s exactly what Infinity Ward are including in one of their proposed box sets for CoD4: MW2, of which there are three in total for consumers to agonise over.

As you can imagine the night vision goggles are not a mandatory purchase, expecting punters to fork out an already estimated £100 for the product is stretching credulity just a bit. On offer, there will be the standard (no frills) edition game, the Hardened edition (a steel case) which contains an art book and a download code for CoD1 and finally the Prestige edition. Which will be the Hardened edition with the night vision googles and a sculptured head on which the goggles can be fitted, if you ever tire of wearing them (day or night).

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling unboxes the contents of the Prestige Edition in the following video.

As yet no confirmed prices for any of the editions or availability of Prestige boxset but one thing is certain even if they can’t afford it every CoD fan is going to want their very own set of night vision goggles. Actually scrap that, grown men the world over will want their own set of night vision goggles.
