A subgenre of Sci-Fi known as steampunk has been becoming more prominent of late with lots of reversed engineer tech being steampunked. Although the word steampunk is new (created in the 90’s), the principles have been around since steam itself.
Edge of Twilight is a new game by developers fuzzyeyes which embraces the ideology of steampunk to create a world similar to that found in a Wells or Verne novel. In EoT you take on the role of Lex, a bounty hunter who finds himself caught up in a struggle between light and dark. The world in which Lex lives has been torn in two, the night and day have separated into two parallel worlds existing at the same time. In the dark realm of eternal night you will find colossal machines with secrets and mysteries, whereas in the realm of eternal daylight a sun scorched world of brutality.
Edge of Twilight will be available late next year on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
