Pixel Lovin’

Join us as we take a look at the cultural and social impact of gaming in the wider world, observing the current trends in fashion, merchandising, geek dom and the random. We’ll try to delve into why some games acquire cult status and if it’s a result of gaming or if it’s a more far reaching cultural effect.

Collecting the best and worst examples scattered around the internet, dissecting the information and arranging it into (semi) coherent collages of words and pictures, as we embark on a light hearted jaunt though gaming’s mine field of peer acceptance.

Modification

Dipping our toes in the bewildering world of console modding, this section will be devoted the technical genius behind taking your standard console and giving it a makeover.

These mods will take the form of console a facelift by enhancing the outer shell with a splash of colour or adorning paraphernalia for decoration. Another form will include ripping its guts out and replacing it with different tech which gives it a new purpose, not originally intended.

One thing this section will not be covering is the latest mod chips designed to hack console security and play copied games.

Writers Block

As you can see from the main page the day to day news can be a bit tongue in cheek, this section however will have a more serious feel.

Made up of a collection of works that do not fit in the other categories, this section will feature a broad spectrum of topics from our personal top ten (of anything and everything!) in depth peek at games or developers or a trip down memory lane.
