Happy Birthday Halo
July 21st, 1999, that’s the day Halo was first introduced to the public, the event was Macworld in New York. On center stage Steve Jobs passes the baton to Bungie co-founder Jason Jones to handle the unveiling and the rest, as they say, is history.
What I find difficult is that its been ten long years since this event and in that time the Master chief has gone from the unknown upstart to a fully fledged member of the gaming fraternity. Bungie are humble enough to acknowledge this wouldn’t have been possible without us, the gamers that have played it, but in truth if Halo wasn’t so good then we wouldn’t play it.
So thank you Bungie for making the game.
