It’s-a-me: Mario Bar!

Student bars are a common site around university campuses the world over, which is why if I could be a student anywhere it would be in Denmark were gaming themed events like Mario Bar and Final Fantasy Night take place.
Friday nights are special to most because it heralds the weekend, although for the students of the IT University of Copenhagen it’s the night of Fredagbar (Friday Bar). It is during these hallowed evenings that the students change the appearance of their bar to match that of their chosen degree, which in this case is “Media, Technology and Games”. For the Mario themed event they decorated the bar with iconic Mario items and also came up with a few Nintendo themed cocktails and shots too (probably as a result of extensive and yet inconclusive alcohol studies). Similar alterations were made for the Final Fantasy evening, although a stronger emphasis seemed to be on fancy dress rather than that of the decoration.
In all ten drinks Nintendo drinks were concocted and fifteen Final Fantasy, each matched the character (or entity) of their namesakes in both colour and taste, but before you start asking how they know what Yoshi tastes like the flavour is more of a representation of the qualities each imbues.
