Where the heck did this game come from? This looks like a boat load of fun on an ocean of supreme awesomeness. This is coming from Avalanche Studios studios who also developed the first Just Cause game for various platforms. Just Cause 2 will only be available on 360, PS3, and PC sometime next year.
You have to check out this E3 developer walkthrough video. I absolutely love the initial base jump and really look forward to a lot of free falling. Plus, the whole grapple hook + infinite parachute thing really adds a cool element to the gameplay. I hope all of those chains of islands can be explored. If so this could be one heck of a sandbox to play in.
The only thing that worries me is that it seems there is too long of a delay between landing to when you are able to hand out some butt kicking. There was also a spot where the collision detection seemed to hiccup, but all in all this looks like it will be an excellent game.

This game looks totally amazing..!
I cant wait untill 2010 though as i need this now.
