Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

Evidence of the new Lego Indy has been dug up and it doesn’t take an archeologist to work out that this next game will be based on the most recent film, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Fortunately the only information about the game reveals that it will actually revisit the previous films too and for the first time will feature a level editor.
The success of the Lego series pretty much guarantees a sequel or two, the problem being that for my money the Lego Indy game is so far the weakest title in the franchise. Not to mention that the game will effectively retread events of the previous game and any fresh elements will be based on the weakest Indiana Jones film. The Lego formula is starting to get a bit tired so I can only hope that TT games can whip up something that doesn’t smell like a thousand year old mummy.
Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues will be out on Wii, DS, PlayStation 3, PSP, Xbox 360 and Windows in Autumn this year.
