The chances are, if you are a PC gamer then you’ve tried your hand at creating your own gaming content, be it level editing, character modelling or gameplay modes. Such is the popularity of modding PC games that its part of the landscape, so much so that developers generally release game editing tools with the game or make them freely available for any user.
Valve, who have always been actively involved in assisting the modding community (no doubt due to a lot of Valve employees having a background the that area) have made good on their promise to produce assets from the “meet the Sniper” trailer. Fans can now include models from the trailer as props in any of their TF2 maps, of which include the Camper Van, Bobble head and telephone box to name just a few. Valve has also gone to the trouble to explain some of the logic behind the use of the props, for example the inclusion of a peach air freshener that will have you wondering why they seem to know so much about snipers in the first place.
To gain access to these new assests all you have to do is udpate your SDK on Steam, its that simple.
