Metroid: Other M Debut Trailer
I am always excited to see more Metroid games being produced, but after seeing the debut trailer for Metroid: Other M I shall remain cautious. Don’t get me wrong I am excited, it’s just that I’m not so keen on the “Final Fantasy” look that Team Ninja are going for.
Following is the debut trailer and the only three screen shots currently available for the game. Reggie Fils-Aime has stated this game will delve deeper into the Samus story, which the trailer confirms by introducing us to a young Samus being referred to as “Jackson’s girl”. Which is no doubt in reference to her commanding officer at Star Fleet.
There also appears to be a split between 1st and 3rd person perspective, 1st being similar to what retro Studios gave us with the Prime trilogy and the 3rd reminiscent of Super Metroid. Although this time Samus has the ability to melee and even grapple, unfortunatelywe”ll all ave to wait to find out more.
