Modder Beware!

Something that has been kept on the down low by Microsoft and understandably too, is the fact that the December update is a bit of a Trojan horse.

The update has been officially banning modded Xboxes across America, it relates to a DVD-burner firmware hack that was introduced when the 360 first came out.

There is no word as to if it affects European modders my guess is if it doesn’t it probably will do in a future update      . I suspect that the reason there is not a lot of internet buzz about it is that since this relates to an old hack, the chances are that it might only relate to a small portion of the modded Xboxes, the hobbyists as it were.

Anyone who is big on the modding scene might well have upgraded their hacks already and this would be a case of too little too late.
