NES Cart Art

Another adventure across the untamed plains of the internet brings me to this beauty, a NES cart that has been re-sprayed and relabeled.
The paint job, from my limited understanding of these things is cobalt blue-ish which reminds me of the neon soaked 80’s; the label has been changed to a simple message which dispenses both advice and a warning in a pseudo serious and pithy manner that reads as follows:
In The Event Of Boredom Use This Cartridge
Possible side effects include:
Photosensitive epilepsy, head and eye strains, auditory hallucinations, enuresis, encopresis, wrist pain neck pain and repetitive strain injuries.
Personally I think the artist succinctly defines the gamer rationale, we get bored we play games and in doing so we might strain our eyes or hear games even after play has finished, he has of course added the embellishments of enuresis and encopresis which is basically toilet humour.
In a random act of randomness the artist responsible for this also won the we hate glue project, which Mike posted about yesterday, small world.
The artist for the fantastic NES cart is Eoin Stanley, a visual communications student from Dublin
