Nintendo Graffiti (part II)

There has always been the issue of whether “Graffiti” is art? And I have to say that like most art if done well, it improves the environment it sits in. I think I should have titled this post Nintendo Urban Art, but as this is technically a follow on from my good man Steve’s post it will stay “Nintendo Graffiti“. Since Steve posted the first one I’ve noticed a massive increase of game related graffiti sightings. When this happens, I save it until I feel I have enough to share with all you fellows out there.

To begin this, I give you the most amazing Hama project I’ve ever seen titled “Megaman vs. Dr. Wiley” this was made by Sprite Stitch user darth_kettch for a installation in his student dorm over in Stavanger in western Norway. I think you will agree that this just looks great against the industrial look of the wall. (Myself and a few other Level Select members are now discussing what we could make out of these crazy plastic beads..!)

Next up is this super retro Mino Moto Ekisaitobaiku by Arcade Art.  I have no idea as to where this is but it looks really cool if you ask me.

Above is a crazy piece of Mario Street art on what looks like a toilet and yes I also hope Mario realizes that this isn’t a warp pipe..!

Now we get to a most awesome piece of Urban Art which isn’t Nintendo related but still how could I not include something with the title “Pixel Bomb Carpentry” which measures 100cm x 120cm
And is made of wood & spray paint.

Just by accident I stumbled onto his website which has even more cool pixel related Graffiti, like his “Pixel Bomb ANO” which I love the look of.

Ohh and talking of explosions & bombs check out this “Pixel Bomb” found over on k!dDREWbot’s website. This brings us to the end of the post but I’m sure there will be more Nintendo Graffiti coming your way soon..!
