The other day, I saw something on the news about Banksy’s (the infamous English Graffiti artist) latest London masterpiece and it got me thinking about Nintendo Street Art.
After a good bit of searching I’ve found a pretty reasonable collection of images from across the globe depicting some of our favourite Nintendo characters and icons!
So here’s what I’ve found… enjoy
Link…

Mario…

Mega Man…

Mario and Bowser…

Wiimote…

Mario in a boot…

NICE! Wiimote could be better though.

I think the whole point of the Wiimote is that it is painted on the existing line, which is why it looks out of proprortion.

I agree with Zach on this one. The rest are great. That last one… I don’t know….

Megaman is most definitely a Capcom character, but I think the point here is Megaman made his debut with Nintendo and has been associated with Nintendo ever since.
Take a look at Megaman 9 for example, that game was made as a throw back to Megaman’s most popular titles which were all, at the time exclusive to the NES.

The last one actually looks like a sticker.

I think the first picture of Link is great. I’m a huge Zelda fan, last one…not so great. And on another note. In my heart, I consider Megaman a Nintendo character.

I’m not *positive*, but I stumbled a site awhile back where somebody was Shooping 8 and 16 bit characters into real world pictures. Almost positive that Boot Mario is from that, and I think the first pic of Link is as well. I wish I had bookmarked that site now.
