Ocarina Of Time Multiplayer

Ever wondered what would happen if you combined Four Swords with Ocarina of Time? Well now wonder no more!
A very talented coder by the name of Cen is in the process of making a Zelda multiplayer from the Ocarina engine.

–Modes–

Co-op: Normal game - except with three extra players (if the controllers are plugged in.. also this has some issues - only green link will beable to interact with characters, pick up items, and so on unless I find a solution to the problem :\
Camera problems will un-doubtly exist as-well, D-Pad might be used to change the camera focus?

Defender: Enemies attack a currently undecided object, which has a set amount of health. Defend it until the timer is up to proceed to the next stage.

PvP: Link vs Dark Link fight in this 2 player duel (maybe more later)

Aside the from the four different coloured Links and Dark Link, Stalfos is also included and there are plans to add yet more characters to the roster. Another addition is the inclusision of explosive arrows, something that wasn’t available in OoT.

As with all one home brew teams it take ages to code and there’s always a few hurdles that need to be worked, so i wouldn’t expect the finished article any time soon.

Currently CO-OP and PVP are working - PVP obviously works without any problems but CO-OP has leader issues which I will need to figure out how to handle. (the AI wasn’t made for four players!)

As far as camera, right now it’s all on one screen - it is possible to have multiple screens if you’re using an emulator, although I am also working on split screen support with multiple cameras (may not be practical/possible).

Completely separate cameras de-synced the game too much, although that may be an issue on how I am attempting it.

In PVP mode you can fight as Link or Dark Link, right now it is only 2 player, but I will support more in the future.

More information about this can be found on the Outlawer forums
