Pink & Blue Controllers

Microsoft have just released two new colours for the XBOX 360 one pink, and one blue.
To the casual observer it would appear that Microsoft is trying to appeal to both sexes, which could back fire for being too direct, both Sony and Nintendo have tried this tactic with the PS2 and DS respectively.
Microsoft haven’t really lost anything for giving it a go, i just don’t know exactly who these will appeal to considering their core demographic is a 25 year old male.
