Now we all remember Pong don’t we?
Well for those among us that only have memories of the Playstaion, Pong was originally as a coin-operated arcade game made by Atari Inc in 1972. It was one of the world’s first video arcade game, being beaten only by “Computer Space” by Nutting Associates had been launched a year earlier in 1971.

The game is based on table tennis (or “ping pong”), and named after the sound generated by the circuitry when the ball is hit “Pong”.
Ok with that history lesson out of the way here is the reason The Pong Table!

The Pong Table designed by Moritz Waldemeye, has been embedded with 2400 LED lights and 2 trackpads to turn it not only from being a place to eat your food but now a modern version of the game Pong!
This it’s part of MoMA’s Design & the Elastic Mind Exhibit. and i really wish i could have something this cool in my house!
