In one of my recent posts I brought you news that Nintendo were going to be distributing free Wii Remote protective Jackets to the US, Japan and Australia to offer extra safety to the gamer.Â
At that time, is was a little unclear as to whether us Brit’s would be in-line to receive this odd looking extra. I can now tell you that yes, we are as clumsy as our global friends and yes Nintendo will be offering us a free silicon shower cap for our Wii’s.
Interestingly, the article does again re-iterate the basic safety tips all Wii owners should observe when using the Wii-mote. Here at Level Select, we are irresponsible people so it is only right to pass on these messages to you…
- keep a firm grip;
- don’t let go of the controller;
- use the wrist strap; and
- make sure your play area is free of people or objects.
(Why am I conjuring up different images here….?!)
Interest in getting your freebie? Head over to Wii.com, fill out the form and sit back and wait for the silicon enhancements to arrive!!
