Rygar: The Battle of Argus

Rygar will probably be new to most Wii owners, simply because the last time we saw a Rygar game was way back in 1990. Fortunately this old classic is getting a remake for the Wii and will hopefully do the old game proud. For the uninitiated Rygar will draw some similarities to Captain America, they both use a shield for their weapon of choice and said shields go above and beyond the usual requirement of a shield. Where the two differ is Rygar can use his shield as a method of transport and Captain America’s is an incredibly sexy piece of Vibranium-Iron alloy.

The game is set in the mythical world of Argus (no, not the retail chain), against the backdrop of a Greco-Roman environment, so if swords and sandals (or shields in this case) are your thing you might want to check out the following trailer and images.
