Shmups Are Back In The Arcades (at last)

That classic side-scrolling bullet hell that we all know and love will be making a comeback in the form of Taito’s new Darius Burst: Another Chronicle. I’m not positive that shmups ever left the arcades, I haven’t seen an arcade in years (besides Chuck E. Cheese)

Four player action adding to the insane amount of glowing dots that will already be covering the screen. This is a beautiful piece of electronic that I would love to sit on. I really hope that I run across this game some day and have the chance to pump some money into it. Look at the big widescreen goodness. Check out some up close shots of the action.
