Mega Man Universe

Mega Man Universe A totally new Mega Man game was announced today and for many fans that were holding out for a more conventional Mega Man title, best look away now. Not that there is anything to see mind you, all we have is the information provided in the press release issued by Capcom. What this information tells us is this game will potentially be far removed from the Mega Man we know and love. “For the...  (read more »)

Batman: Arkham Asylum Demo

OK! So you’ve been following all the updates, you’ve seen all the renders, the screen shots and the footage available. You’re incredibly excited about the game, but if you’re honest with yourself, you are quietly cautious about it. Comic book games have let you down before, you weren’t too keen on some of the renders, the screen shots looked fine and yet some of the FMV lacked...  (read more »)

Bomberman Ultra

Sadly this has nothing to do with Killer instinct and you wont be able to pull off ultra bomb combos. Although not to beat down on the game, but Bomberman was released in 1987 and has spawned over 60 iterations on nearly every major console. In all that time the game has remained virtually unchanged, you never know it might benefit from some sick combo kills (just saying). This particular version will only...  (read more »)

Originally released by Konami in 1996, GTi Club + is available for download on the PlayStation Network and now with HD graphics. Set in and around the French region of Ville De Circo, players will experience both the scenic mountain roads and the claustrophobic city streets behind the wheels of some souped up hot hatches, like the Mini Cooper. Along with the graphical overhaul the game also benefits from online...  (read more »)

SFIIHDR Round 3

The penultimate trailer for Street Fighter II HDR is upon us and for SF fans the outcome, and the new challenger is to be expected. This however doesn’t stop this serial from being any less potent and even ramps up the anticipation that little bit more. Helping out is the awesome fighting anthem “You’re the best around” – Joe Esposito which comes to it’s finale this week, I can...  (read more »)

Street Fighter II HD Remix Delay

Having an affinity with a particular console has it’s ups and downs, as does where you and your favourite console live in the world. This time around being a European PlayStation 3 owner is definitely on a down (to be fair it’s not been their year). This is because there is an unspecified delay on SFII HDR to the European PlayStation Network. The game is available from today across the pond in the...  (read more »)

Street Fighter HD Remix Round 2!

Capcom’s hype machine is still going strong, this time around we are treated to a second helping of the four part SFIIHDR trailer. Once again we are treated to the sounds of “Joe Esposito – You’re the Best Around”. One thing I ask of Capcom is that they include this sound as the end credits, because that would be awesome beyond comprehension. ...  (read more »)

SSF II HDR: Chun-Li, Vega and Balrog

Capcom are really ramping up their SSF II HDR output right now and as the picture suggests they are probably gearing for their super combo finish!

This time around we are treated to visuals for Chun-Li, Vega and Balrog. Each character has three pieces of stunning art work and then a batch of action shots. As Capcom promised last week we should be seeing the finished product very soon, so watch out for the announcement.

Megaman DLC

Capcom’s continued love for the blue bomber gives us a fresh set of challenges with Megaman 9.

The content will be separated into three easily digestible chucks, although swallowing the in game beatings may not be as easy. Anyone who thought the game was already hard will be disappointed to know Capcom aren’t making it easier but harder, much harder. Soon the option there will be to play the game on hard mode, or on expert mode and finally special time attack mode which adds an extra robot in the form of Fake Man.
