Tekken 6: “What will you fight for..?”

Now I remember a time when not very many people knew about Sony’s Playstaion, but one thing that has always stayed with me was going round to my mate Matt’s house to play his new Playstaion with a new game called “Tekken” and I was blown about as at the time all I had really known was Street Fighter and seeing a fighting game that was almost in 3D was something I can tell you.

I have to say that I was never a big fan of fighting games like Street Fight of Mortal Kombat but something about Tekken really made me get into the whole fighting game genre maybe it was the really sweet intros and ending for each character or maybe the art of the counter attack, which my mate were always that little but better than me, but I think that Tekken and maybe Resident Evil were the reason I bought my first gem Playstaion.

Now some 16 years later “The King of Iron Fist Tournament” is in its 6th chapter (not including Tekken Tag) and will not only appear on the PS3 but the 360 too..! Although Tekken 6 was released in Japanese arcades on November 26, 2007 this new version of the Tekken 6 is said to contain new stages and characters as well as being available for the PlayStation Portable that also will have different content to its console counterparts.

As with most things that are soon to be released is the very important online viral and i’m happy to say that we here at Level Select were lucky enough to see the new “what will you fight for..?” trailer which can be viewed below.

I’m told that the next viral trailer will be released soon and features girls in bikinis, so in the mean time why not jump over to the website for “What will you fight for..?” and see what other cool things they have there..!

Tekken 6 is due for release on 10.27.09 and looks to be one hell of a fight.
