The Art of: Street Fighter (part II)

So it seems that Street Fighter 4 has made quite and impression on the Art community as of late and everywhere I look these days I see Ryu or Miss Lee in a piece of artwork. So I thought it was time for “part II” of The Art of: Street Fighter, enjoy. (Here’s a link to part I if you missed it.)

First up is this amazing 3D render of Guile, which looks almost real.

If you thought that the Muppet Babies were cute, you haven’t seen the Street Fighter Kids by Kei Acedera which was done for Jab Strong Fierce (Street Fighter Tribute Show) and boy am I loving her work..!

This fine piece of art by deviantart member Marciotakara was a commission called simply “Blankas” for Dave and no, I don’t know who Dave is but he’s a very lucky guy..!

Not only has Marciotakara done Blanka but also the lovely Cammy too…

Staying with D we have Zangief and gang posing for the camera and Zangief looks so massive that maybe he could take on the Hulk..?

If you thought Zangief was big, check out how big Sagat is in this next image titled “Ryu & Sagat” by Joe Virens. This image reminds me of the beginning of the Street Fighter where Ryu totally owns Sagat..!

Below is said clip of the fight between Ryu & Sagat, and now I must go out and buy this on DVD.

And last up is this great little number titled “ART PRINT #2” I know odd name but other than that doesn’t everyone in the picture look like there having fun..!
