Wet

Here’s the latest trailer for Wet, featuring protagonist Rubi, who jumps and spins about the place putting holes in pretty much everything she sees. Which is one of the big “selling points” to the game, the ability to shoot anywhere, anytime. The game promises an unparalleled sense of freedom while shooting, You can shoot while running, sliding down ladders, sliding across the floor, or performing any number of acrobatic moves. All the while, Rubi continues to look runway model perfect.

The story is also suitably pulpy, Rubi Malone is a gun-for-hire who agrees to find and return a wealthy man’s wayward son. The job sounds simple enough, but turns out to be a catalyst to a much more complicated affair where the wealthy man double crosses Rubi. Forced on the run, Rubi starts leaving a massive body count in her wake.

Looking good! I thought this was the game that was supposed to have the amazing water physics but I’m obviously getting it mixed up with another title that’s on the way. It looks like a cross between Stranglehold, No More Heroes, and any of the Matrix movies/games you care to mention. I’ll be keeping a beady eye on this!!
