Wii and DS to hook up in Ghostbusters

Categories: Nintendo
Written By: Steve Harry

According to reports from Videogaming 247, the Wii incarnation of the new Ghostbusters game being developed by Red Fly will enable you to link up and use your Nintendo DS as a Ghostbuster style PKE meter to help you detect and measure Psycho-Kinetic Energy emitted by ghosts.

Whilist the idea of connecting hand-held systems with consoles isn’t a new idea in itself, it is one of the first to link up the DS with the Wii and might well even give the title a different angle to its ‘big brother’ version coming to the 360 (which is being developed by Terminal Reality). Who knows, it might also give you a reason to play this game on the Wii…

Personally I like the idea of using the DS with the Wii in this way however I can’t see exactly how it will work when both hands are already pre-occupied with the Wii-mote and nunchuck!
