Zelda Concept Art

The conspicuous absence of Zelda was quite apparent at this year’s E3, everyone practically expected it and since everyone knew it was being developed it was assumed it would. Unfortunately the most any of us got was Shigeru Miyamoto mentioning the title during his round table interview. He also showed off a piece of conceptual artwork for the game, which for reasons of lunacy was not allowed to be photographed, now a few days later the image turns up on the internet anyway.

Being only a concept image don’t expect this look to remain set in stone, as with all forms of development it’s liable to change. Although it is in keeping with the twilight princess’ look which is a plus in my book. One negative though, would be at first glance the other character appears to be a Zoran. Yet there are rumours beginning the circulate that this character will represent the Master Sword in humanoid form. Can I be the first to suggest that this is a bad idea?

Link without a sword is such a bad idea..!

I agree with you guys. Hopefully Link has a sword, but you rescue this zoran looking character and then it turns into the master sword. But still, I want less wacky story developement and more bad ass adventuring. If I want story I will read Zelda graphic novels for pete sake.
